Aisle (accessible via gotoaisle.com) serves as a platform which helps retailers devise marketing strategies based on consumer buying actions and helps incentivise purchases with cashback bonuses sent through SMS. The platform works in the following way: after registering, users receive tailored offers associated with specific products from partnered retailers. Customers buy the advertised product and then upload proof of purchase (usually a receipt) to the site. They are then reimbursed a percentage of the previously paid amount. This approach gives customers the opportunity to sample products at very low or zero cost while giving brands valuable information about buying behavior.

From the user side, the experience is streamlined for simplicity. Users receive offers that are relevant to their location, buy products when they are already out shopping, and upload required files through a mobile friendly web interface. Typically, users are issued their refunds in a matter of days.
