Catelli pasta has been a staple in Canadian households since 1867, originating from Carlo Onorato Catelli's establishment of a pasta business in Old Montreal. Carlo emigrated from Italy with his nephew in 1845 and began selling handmade macaroni and vermicelli at the age of 18. The family grew to include two children born to Carlo and his wife Maria, who was from a senator’s family. Over time, Catelli pasta expanded to offer healthier options and has remained a trusted brand in Canadian homes for over a century and a half.
